About me: Isabel Berga

The person behind the blog.

My nomad life🌍

In my early twenties, I was training to join Spain’s diplomatic corps. Everything was on track until, at 26, my father was diagnosed with cancer. I left the program to be with my family and suddenly found myself back at my parents’ home, with no money and having abandoned what looked like a promising career.

That turning point pushed me to start my own business. Life has tricky ways of working out—two years later, the company was a total success, giving me the freedom to travel the world with a solid budget and a fully online job. My digital nomad journey took me from a spiritual awakening in Bali, to character-shaping months in Kuala Lumpur, to discovering my purpose in Japan, and even performing belly dance on a stage in Seoul.

I traveled non-stop… until I grew tired of always starting over: new friends, new apartments, new routines. What I truly missed was a place to call home. Returning to my hometown, Mallorca, I realized it’s not just a beautiful island—it’s also home to a vibrant expat community. That’s when this project was born: a way to connect, share, and create meaningful experiences in the place I finally chose to stay.

My interests ✨

Dancing has always been my happy place—I spend my free time between belly dance and a Pilates practice inspired by ballet moves. I also love golf, exotic food (though I usually fail when I try to cook it at home), and, above all, building new businesses.

I’ve launched three projects already, and I’m proud to say they all worked out. Being an entrepreneur in Mallorca sometimes feels lonely—the island’s slow life often contrasts with the hustle culture of places like Dubai or New York. For years I thought there were no young entrepreneurs here… until I realized many of us exist, we’re just not connected.

That’s why one of my goals now is to build a tribe: a space for digital nomads and entrepreneurs in Mallorca to meet, share ideas, and inspire each other. Because if we truly become who we spend time with, then let’s spend it together—chatting, sipping wine, and enjoying sunsets by the sea.

My life philosophy? Not fast & cheap, but curated and meaningful—high-level experiences that feel authentic, yet remain accessible. It’s about quality, culture, and sunshine in daily life.

And if you ever see me walking around Palma—don’t be shy and say hi. I’d love to meet someone who reads my blog. 💛
